About The Masters
Masters is the annual golf championship played at Augusta National Golf Club. Its brand brings together the Tournament’s history, traditions, course, and competition, with Masters.com serving as its digital home for coverage and experiences.
The Masters logo
Use the Masters Tournament map-and-flag mark or the complete map-and-wordmark lockup. Preserve the flag, map silhouette and lettering, and keep the white lockup on a dark or green background.
Keep sponsor marks and Augusta National Women's Amateur identity separate from the Masters Tournament identity.

The Masters’s voice
Write with a composed, informed voice that honors the Tournament’s history while bringing its course and competition to life. Favor vivid, specific details about Augusta National and its traditions, balanced with direct factual explanation.
Use concise, polished language for digital experiences and editorial copy. When describing a moment, connect it to the people, place, or Tournament history that gives it meaning.
- “Amidst blooming azaleas, towering pines and flowering dogwoods, the first full week of April ushers in a stage unique to golf and to sport”
- “Take a journey down Magnolia Lane or stroll through Amen Corner, and explore the iconic traditions, moments and history of Masters Tournament like never before—past and present”
Dos and don’ts
Do
- Use Masters Green as the main digital accent, with yellow and red as supporting accents and black and white for contrast.
- Use the Masters mark as the identity anchor and keep visual treatments consistent with the mark’s supplied artwork.
- Write about the Tournament with precise details, drawing on its course, traditions, history, and competition.
- Use specific course and seasonal imagery when it supports the story.
Don’t
- Treat sponsor marks or Augusta National Women’s Amateur identity as Masters logos.
- Replace clear factual description with vague promotional language when the story calls for specific information.
The Masters imagery
191 images from masters.com, in 6 files of the Brand Skill. Each file starts with its guidance, then shows the images it refers to.
Editorial imagery
14 imagesEditorial and news imagery pairs Tournament photography with clear, story-led headlines. Use authentic moments from the course and competition, portraits and scenes from Augusta National, and supporting photography that reflects the article or gallery’s subject.
Shop imagery
2 imagesThe Masters shop presents the beauty and scenery of Augusta National alongside historical Tournament photography and publications. Use seasonal landscape imagery, including flowers, pine trees, fairways, and afternoon shadows, when creating Masters shop or publication materials.
Product experience imagery
94 imagesMasters.com uses course and player imagery inside its own digital experiences, including the leaderboard, player listings, and hole-by-hole tracking. Preserve product-interface imagery as product context; use it as a reference for how Masters imagery appears within a live Tournament experience.
Course imagery
26 imagesCourse imagery should evoke Augusta National’s landscape and distinctive holes. The course is shown through scenic hole photography, course information cards, and hole-specific visual details. Use the Tournament’s own course imagery as a reference for course-focused creative.
Hole-specific imagery includes the Flowering Crab Apple hole page’s course photograph, plant detail, strategy diagrams, and pin-location visuals.
Vault imagery
41 imagesMasters Vault imagery organizes archival Tournament content into final-round replays, official films, original series, essays, and related event programming. The presentation pairs recognizable Tournament moments with descriptive program titles and a consistent locked-content overlay. Preserve this imagery when creating work about the Vault experience.
Tournament heritage imagery
14 imagesThe Tournament’s visual storytelling draws on its founders, historic traditions, milestone moments, trophies, statistics, results, and past champions. Use archival and contemporary Tournament imagery to convey continuity across eras.
