(01) Why request a Brief

Your agents make emails, videos, reels, slides and landing pages, and each one needs a different part of your brand. Rainbrand gives your agent the right brand context for the task at hand.

Briefs FAQ

Asked,
answered.

All FAQs

Can I request a Brief for anything I want to create?

Yes. Describe what you're making in your own words. Briefs have guided emails, landing pages, reels, launch videos, banners, decks, packaging, illustrations and print designs. Your agent uses the guidance and assets with the tools that make the output. Browse the examples.

What do I get in a Brief?

Brand guidance for your task and selected assets, such as logos, images, font files and font previews. The guidance can cover brand voice, colours, typography, imagery and relevant facts or restrictions. What comes back depends on the task and what the brand contains. See a real Brief.

Can one Brief cover a whole campaign?

Yes, when the pieces share the same task and direction. Eager's campaign used one Brief for a landing page, email, carousel, reel, launch film and product photos. Request another Brief when the audience, requirements or creative direction changes. See the Eager campaign.

Can I use a Brief with my own AI tools?

Yes. Pass the original task, guidance and assets to the tools you create with. That can include your own models, design tools or code. You can also use a Brief with supported image and video models through Rainbrand's AI Gateway.

How much detail should I put in the request?

Say what you're making, who it's for and what it must include. Add dimensions, exact wording and any constraints that matter. For example, Mercury's request asked for the font files, colours by role, button styles, the sidebar logo and how Mercury words payment details.

What happens when our brand guidelines change?

Once a brand update is applied, request a new Brief to use the updated guidance and assets. Existing Briefs keep the version they were prepared from. If a Brief misses the task, request another with clearer requirements. Read about brand context and reuse.

Can agencies request Briefs for different clients?

Yes. Each request selects a brand. A team can hold as many brands as it needs, with each client's guidance and assets kept separate. Your agents or product request the Brief for the client they are working on.
