Starbucks’s voice
Write with warmth, optimism, and an easy, conversational rhythm. Invite people into a coffee moment, make benefits clear, and let seasonal copy feel playful without losing product clarity.
Starbucks’ own copy includes phrases such as “Your moments matter, whether you're pressed for time or have hours to unwind.” and “It’s a great day for coffee.” Seasonal language can be light and spirited: “Fall is here. Cue the hits.”
Pair lively product descriptions with concrete details about ingredients, preparation, and flavor. Keep practical information, eligibility, and product limitations clear when they matter.

Dos and don’ts
Do
- Use the Siren as the brand identifier and keep it distinct from supporting imagery.
- Keep layouts bright and legible, using the green palette with white space and clear black text.
- Write inviting, everyday language; make product and service details easy to understand.
- Use seasonal playfulness where it suits the offering, while keeping the product recognizable and its description specific.
Don’t
- Don’t redraw, recolor, or crop the Siren, or set it on a busy background where it loses clarity.
- Don’t make product copy so playful that the drink, food, or customer benefit becomes unclear.
- Don’t present availability, Rewards benefits, or service terms as universal when they apply only at participating stores or come with restrictions.

Store and service imagery
Show the coffeehouse as a welcoming place for quick visits, time with friends, and everyday routines. Store imagery includes café interiors and exteriors, drive-through service, delivery, and ways to order.
