The Cadence wordmark is the brand’s mark. Use it in black on light backgrounds and in white on black or on photography dark enough to keep it legible. Keep it visually distinct from product names and supporting copy, and don’t recolor or redraw it.

Cadence’s voice
Cadence speaks with the confidence of sports science and the immediacy of everyday training. Keep the writing direct, specific, and energetic without sounding clinical or overblown. Translate formulation detail into clear benefits and real moments: the desk, the session, the long run, and recovery. Make taste part of the story, not an afterthought.
Use short, pointed headlines, then explain the reason behind the claim in plain language. Numbers and formulation details give the voice authority; sensory details make products inviting. Match claims to the product and its intended use.
- “Hydration, the way it is meant to be done”
- “The easiest habit to get right”
- “The drink you’d reach for anyway, doing something for you”
- “Dosed to what you lose”
Dos and don’ts
Do
- Use a clean, disciplined visual identity with strong contrast and uncluttered type.
- Set large headings in PP Neue Montreal Light and body copy in Regular, with Medium for buttons and labels.
- Make Cadence’s product and flavor worlds vivid while keeping the overall brand presentation composed and performance-minded.
- State formulation details plainly and connect them to a relevant use occasion.
- Write with direct, active phrasing and pair scientific confidence with accessible language.
Don’t
- Don’t make the brand’s general identity feel sugary, cluttered, or dependent on exaggerated sports clichés; Cadence presents hydration as clean, precise, and science-led.
- Don’t bury a product’s purpose in technical language when a clear benefit and use moment can lead.
- Don’t make broad performance or wellness promises that exceed the specific product and claim being communicated.
- Don’t treat every product as interchangeable: daily hydration, energy, sleep, and endurance fueling have distinct functions.
- Don’t recolor the wordmark; keep it black or white.
More from the Brand Skill
Product world
Cadence’s range forms a connected hydration and fueling system. Daily hydration appears as ready-to-drink carbonated cans and mix-at-home sticks; Energy and Sleep sticks address specific moments in the day; gels, bars, and carbohydrate mix support endurance fueling. Bundles bring formats together for daily routines and training. Preserve each product’s distinctive role and packaging when creating product-focused work.
