Reddit’s voice
Write plainly and directly, with a welcoming, human tone. Explain ideas in accessible language, and make it easy for people to ask questions or join in. Reddit’s own phrasing includes “At Reddit, we believe that privacy is a right,” “we want to empower our users to be the masters of their identity,” and “If you need help understanding this policy or anything about Reddit, just ask.” Its broader invitation is “Join the most real place on the internet.”

Dos and don’ts
Do
- Use Reddit’s orange and supporting neutral palette to make the brand recognizable.
- Keep Reddit’s logo and standalone mark intact and clearly visible.
- Write in direct, accessible language; welcome questions and participation.
- Make content easy to scan and keep the community experience central.
Don’t
- Don’t let decorative treatments obscure or overwhelm Reddit’s marks.
- Don’t use needlessly complicated or condescending language where a clear explanation will do.
- Don’t make the brand voice sound like a one-way broadcast; keep the invitation to participate.
Reddit imagery
3 images from reddit.com, in one file of the Brand Skill. Each file starts with its guidance, then shows the images it refers to.
Brand and Product Imagery
3 imagesUse Reddit’s own marks and product motifs to support brand recognition. Product imagery should feel like a window into communities and conversations, rather than unrelated decorative content.
Download Reddit’s Brand Skill

It has the guidance, 3 images and the logos. The font files belong to Reddit, Inc, so they’re left out.
