About Ramp

Ramp is a finance operations platform that brings corporate cards, expenses, bill payments, procurement, accounting automation, and related workflows together. Its brand presents automation and control as ways to give finance teams more time and help businesses run smarter.

Ramp’s logo is a lockup of the lowercase “ramp” wordmark and its glyph. Use the full lockup, in black or white, whichever gives the strongest contrast with the background. Keep clear space on every side equal to the height of the lockup, and preserve its proportions and the relationship between the wordmark and the glyph.

Ramp’s voice

Write with clarity, confidence, and a practical focus. Lead with the business outcome, then explain the task or workflow Ramp simplifies. Favor short, plain-language sentences and concrete benefits: time saved, spend controlled, work completed, decisions made. Keep automation claims specific to the capability being described.

Ramp’s voice is energetic and concise without losing its finance-oriented credibility. It can use vivid, memorable phrasing, but should make the value immediately clear.

For editorial content, be accurate, authoritative, and actionable. Offer practical insight rather than unsupported generalities, and distinguish informational content from legal or financial advice where relevant.

  • “Time is money. Save both”
  • “A month of AP done in minutes”
  • “Employees buy faster. Finance controls every dollar”
  • “We’ve got the receipts”

Dos and don’ts

Do

  • Lead with a concrete business benefit, then show how the product achieves it.
  • Use clear, concise language and practical details that help finance teams act.
  • Present automation alongside the controls and visibility that keep finance teams informed.
  • Use Solar as the signature accent against Ramp black, white and warm light gray, and set type in Lausanne.
  • Use the full logo lockup in black or white, whichever contrasts most with the background.

Don’t

  • Don’t bury the customer benefit under vague technical language.
  • Don’t make broad automation or savings promises without a clear, specific basis.
  • Don’t make the product sound like a replacement for human judgment; show how automation handles routine work while people retain visibility and control.
  • Don’t use the wordmark without the glyph, rearrange the lockup, distort it, add effects, mask photography into it or recolor it.

More from the Brand Skill

Visual identity

Use a light, uncluttered visual foundation: white space, Ramp black text, and the Solar accent. Primary buttons use a dark treatment and secondary buttons use Solar. Interface cards use a white surface, subtle border, and no visible shadow.

The brand’s own visual material includes distinctive illustrative and campaign artwork. Use it as brand material rather than replacing it with unrelated generic decoration.

Product imagery

Show Ramp’s product experience through authentic screens and product visuals. Use the product imagery to make workflows—such as receipt capture, approvals, invoice processing, spend controls, travel, reporting, and vendor management—clear and tangible. Preserve the source product interface when using a screenshot; do not redraw it as a different product.
