About Our Place

Our Place’s voice

Write with warmth, optimism, and a welcoming sense of togetherness. Make cooking feel approachable and enjoyable, not intimidating. Pair clear, useful product benefits with a little charm and conversational wit. Speak to home cooks and everyday routines; connect good design and function to the pleasure of sharing food and making a place for others.

Use the brand’s natural, vivid phrasing as a guide: “We saved you a seat.” “Come over to our place is one of the most generous everyday gestures out there.” “You do not need to be an expert or a multicooker evangelist to master the Dream Cooker.” “Dinner’s ready but you’re not? It’ll stop cooking and keep your food warm until you are.”

Keep claims specific to the product and supported by its stated features. Explain technical benefits in plain language, then connect them to everyday cooking.

Dos and don’ts

Do

  • Make cooking and gathering feel welcoming, joyful, and within reach.
  • Show products as both useful tools and considered objects that belong in the kitchen and at the table.
  • Use expressive product colors, inviting food, and lived-in kitchen settings to give the work warmth.
  • Write in clear, conversational language, with specific everyday benefits and a light touch of wit.
  • Make room for food traditions and stories from different communities; represent people and ways of gathering with care.

Don’t

  • Don’t make cooking sound complicated, intimidating, or reserved for experts.
  • Don’t let aesthetic polish obscure what a product does or how it helps a home cook.
  • Don’t use technical jargon where a plain-language explanation is clearer.
  • Don’t treat the kitchen only as a product backdrop; the brand centers the people, food, and connection around the table.

More from the Brand Skill

Product interface and feature imagery

Preserve the Our Place product experience: product page galleries, product-detail views, technical component presentations, comparison visuals, and feature illustrations are all part of the brand’s visual language. Use clean, legible product-focused compositions alongside lived-in demonstrations.

Appliance imagery

Show Our Place appliances as considered countertop objects as well as practical cooking tools. Use both clear product views and active-use scenes; include the food, controls, accessories, and distinctive product details when they help explain the experience.

Bakeware imagery

Show bakeware doing real work: baking, roasting, griddling, serving, and stacking for storage. Keep product color, useful form, and the finished food visible. Pair neat product arrangements with colorful cooking scenes.

Cookware imagery

Present cookware as sculptural, colorful, and ready for real cooking. Combine clean product views with food-in-pan moments, active preparation, and stove-to-table scenes. Keep signature silhouettes and distinguishing details visible, including domed lids, handles, utensils, and the product’s surface or finish.

Brand world imagery

Show the welcoming world of Our Place through shared meals, inviting tables, home cooks, and products used naturally in the kitchen. Favor warm, expressive scenes that connect cooking with community and everyday rituals.

Food and recipe imagery

Make the food feel abundant, colorful, and ready to share. Use close, appetizing views of finished dishes alongside cooking-in-progress scenes and Our Place products in use. The recipe imagery ranges from everyday plates to celebratory dishes and foods from many traditions.
