About Eight Sleep

Eight Sleep is a health-technology brand focused on sleep. Its Pod system combines a temperature-regulating Cover, Hub, and app to personalize the sleep environment and surface sleep and health insights. The brand brings advanced technology into the bedroom in service of deeper rest, recovery, and better days.

Use the Eight Sleep logo, a bold 8 beside the stacked EIGHT SLEEP wordmark, as the brand identity. Keep its original proportions and artwork intact, in white on dark grounds or black on light grounds. Do not substitute product photography, website graphics, or partner marks for the Eight Sleep identity.

Eight Sleep’s voice

Write with confident, human clarity. Connect technical sleep innovation to felt benefits (comfort, deeper rest, recovery, and more capable days) without making the technology sound clinical or cold. Speak directly to the reader and make personalization central.

For science and health-related writing, use careful qualifications. Individual results vary; describe research as research and do not present the Pod as diagnosing, treating, curing, or preventing a health condition.

  • “Your body changes. Your bed should, too”
  • “Sleep is personal. Autopilot treats it that way”
  • “All you have to do is sleep”
  • “Intense workout? Autopilot boosts your recovery”

Dos and don’ts

Do

  • Make the Pod system understandable by showing the Cover, Hub, and app as parts of a connected sleep experience.
  • Show individualized comfort in authentic bedroom settings, including each sleeper’s independent temperature when relevant.
  • Use blue as a purposeful accent and preserve clean, legible black-and-white layouts.
  • Write plainly and confidently, linking technology to real sleep experiences.
  • Qualify performance and health claims, and include relevant disclaimers when making them.

Don’t

  • Don’t imply that the Pod is a medical device or that it diagnoses, treats, cures, or prevents disease.
  • Don’t promise individual results or present study outcomes as guaranteed for every user.
  • Don’t let technical detail obscure the personal benefit: better comfort, sleep, and recovery.
  • Don’t alter, recolor or redraw the Eight Sleep logo.

More from the Brand Skill

Editorial and community imagery

For science-led editorial, pair product context with people and research artifacts in a grounded, informative style. Advisory portraits, study visuals, and member stories support trust when their context is clear. Athlete and member photography can communicate performance and personal experience; use it as brand storytelling, not as a substitute for the product story.

Product and lifestyle imagery

Show Eight Sleep products in quiet, considered bedroom environments, with the Pod integrated naturally into the bed and room. Product-focused imagery ranges from clean product views and installation moments to bedroom scenes and close-ups of materials and controls. Use real, lived-in sleep contexts to communicate comfort and practical use.

Use saturated blue and warm red selectively to visualize temperature control; keep the bedroom scene itself calm and inviting. Lifestyle imagery can feature couples, women at different life stages, and athletes, with the Pod’s role in their sleep experience easy to understand. Keep those depictions natural rather than over-staged.

Product interface imagery

Show the Eight Sleep app as a refined, legible companion to the physical sleep system. Its interface turns overnight biometric and temperature data into clear summaries, trends, scores, and practical insights. Present charts and controls as calm, organized information rather than dense technical dashboards. Keep interface imagery recognizable as Eight Sleep’s own product experience.
