Fellow’s voice
Fellow’s voice makes craft feel inviting. Write with confidence about precision and performance, but keep explanations warm, human, and easy for newcomers to follow. Emphasize thoughtful details and the pleasure of the daily ritual; avoid jargon unless it helps the reader understand or do something.
Use purposeful, conversational phrasing such as “We believe that the act of making should be meaningful and fulfilling, done with intention and precision.”
Bring the everyday ritual to life with “When the simple motions of life become small moments of joy, that's Everyday Magic.™”
Pair technical benefit with an approachable promise, as in “The coffee maker that thinks like a pour-over.”
For broad audiences, balance expertise with accessibility: “Whether you're a world brewing champion or a brewing beginner, Stagg EKG will be your countertop partner in the pursuit of a ridiculously good cup of coffee.”
- “We believe that the act of making should be meaningful and fulfilling, done with intention and precision”

Dos and don’ts
Do
- Make everyday brewing feel intentional, enjoyable, and accessible to both curious beginners and experienced coffee enthusiasts.
- Explain technical benefits in plain language, connecting precision and thoughtful design to a better, more consistent ritual.
- Keep product descriptions specific and useful; pair functional claims with the details that make them tangible.
- Use warm, lightly playful phrasing where it supports the message, while keeping the overall tone considered and confident.
Don’t
- Don’t make coffee expertise feel intimidating or imply that there is only one right way to brew.
- Don’t bury a useful product benefit under technical language or exaggerated claims.
- Don’t treat Fellow’s products as merely decorative; communicate their functional intent alongside their considered design.
More from the Brand Skill
Brand and editorial imagery
Fellow’s imagery brings its functional products into warm, thoughtful kitchen and coffee contexts. Favor polished, product-aware scenes and editorial images that make room for the objects, the ritual, and the people who use them.
Editorial and educational imagery
Use educational imagery to make coffee guidance feel clear, hands-on, and inviting. Diagrams and process images should support a specific explanation rather than decorate without purpose.
Gear guide imagery
Use Fellow gear-guide imagery when a task needs to communicate setup, use, care, or product education. Show real workflow details and instructional moments with clarity; keep learning approachable and practical.
Coffee brewing gear imagery
Show Fellow brewing equipment as considered tools: clear silhouettes, tactile controls, and finishes that make the object feel at home on a coffee counter. Use close views when they clarify a functional detail, and product-in-use imagery when it helps explain the brewing ritual.
Espresso Series 1 imagery
Present Espresso Series 1 as a precision-led home espresso machine that feels approachable and assured. Show the machine, its controls, and the preparation ritual with enough clarity to make its performance and considered finish tangible.
Accessories and bundles imagery
Use Fellow’s accessories and bundles to show a complete, considered coffee setup. Keep the arrangement purposeful: objects should feel useful together, with each product easy to distinguish.
Drinkware imagery
Show Fellow drinkware as clean, tactile everyday objects. Let the silhouette, finish, lid, and material details read clearly; in lifestyle scenes, communicate the use case without cluttering the product.
