Olipop’s voice
Write with the easy enthusiasm of a soda brand that loves flavor and takes function seriously. Make sensory language vivid and familiar, then express functional benefits in clear, grounded terms. Use light wordplay and friendly invitations, especially for flavor discovery, without making wellness feel clinical or stern.
- “The soda you grew up sipping, made with care and backed by science so you never have to choose between feeling good and great taste”
- “Sweet, refreshing, & unmistakably celebratory”
- “Here for a good time, not a long time. Grab these flavors before they sip away!”
- “Add some pop to your inbox when you sign up to receive OLIPOP Digest emails!”
Dos and don’ts
Do
- Use the OLIPOP wordmark as the brand signature, in deep green on cream or white.
- Lead with familiar, appetizing flavor language; pair it with functional information in plain, measured language.
- Make the tone warm, upbeat, and celebratory, with playful turns of phrase that feel natural to soda.
- Distinguish the 6g shelf-stable line, the refrigerated 9g line, and the smaller 3g MINIs when describing products.
Don’t
- Don’t make OLIPOP sound clinical, joyless, or like a medicinal product; keep flavor and enjoyment present.
- Don’t overstate digestive-health benefits. Keep health language tied to the stated support claim and product context.
- Don’t imply that all products share the same fiber amount, formula, or storage requirement.
- Don’t redraw, straighten or recolor the arched OLIPOP wordmark.
More from the Brand Skill
Brand imagery
Build scenes around refreshment, flavor, and real-life enjoyment. OLIPOP imagery balances clean product visibility with playful color, fruit, botanicals, and occasional human moments. Educational visuals can use ingredient illustrations, product comparisons, and clear nutrition information; keep these supportive and approachable. Lifestyle images should feel candid and inviting, with the can remaining a recognizable product.
Ingredients and science visuals
Use OLIPOP’s own educational images to make product function tangible: plant-fiber ingredients, botanical extracts, and product nutrition panels. Keep scientific material accessible and clear. Pair it with flavor-led product imagery so the brand retains its soda-first appeal.
Product imagery
OLIPOP packaging is a key part of the visual identity. Use the actual flavor pack design as the source of truth: flavor-specific colors, illustrated ingredients or playful characters, product name, and functional details vary between cans and lines. Show the can clearly, with the flavor name and packaging treatment legible whenever the composition allows. Condensation, poured soda, fruit, and lively color fields appear in product photography; use these as flavor-led context rather than generic wellness imagery.
Flavor identity and gallery images
Keep product imagery flavor-specific. Pomegranate Sparkle uses a festive pomegranate character and rich pink-to-burgundy colors; Vintage Cola uses a nostalgic cola treatment with citrus and warm caramel notes; Doctor Goodwin uses a playful, boldly colored flavor identity. Use the corresponding official packaging, rather than inventing a new label or borrowing another flavor’s graphics.
Product claims
Describe OLIPOP as a soda made with real ingredients and a proprietary blend of prebiotic fibers and botanicals, formulated to support digestive health. Keep claims tied to the specific product and fiber line. The 6g Fiber Line is shelf-stable and should be chilled before enjoying; the 9g Fiber Line is the original refrigerated formula; MINIs are smaller cans with 3g of fiber.
Use factual product values only in the context where they apply. OLIPOP’s 12 fl oz cans have 6–9g of dietary fiber and 2–5g of sugar, with nutrition varying by flavor and line. Avoid turning these ranges into guarantees for every individual product; use the product’s specific nutrition information when an asset needs exact figures.
Keep comparative language qualified and specific. For example, the stated “at least 80% less sugar” comparison is against leading non-diet sodas; do not present it as a general comparison against all drinks.
The tone can make science inviting, but claims should remain measured: say OLIPOP supports digestive health, rather than implying that it treats, cures, or prevents a condition.
