Mushie’s voice
Write with warmth, calm confidence, and a practical parent-to-parent sensibility. Lead with the everyday benefit, then explain the useful detail in clear, reassuring language. Keep the focus on children’s comfort, little discoveries, and simpler family routines.
Use natural, approachable phrases such as “designed for delicate skin and sweet dreams,” “a little joy and calm to mealtime,” and “make everyday meals a little simpler and more enjoyable.”
Keep safety, material, durability, and environmental claims tied to the specific product and substantiated wording. For example, product copy identifies food-grade silicone or organic cotton where relevant; do not turn a product-specific detail into a claim about the entire range.
- “designed for delicate skin and sweet dreams”
- “a little joy and calm to mealtime”
- “make everyday meals a little simpler and more enjoyable”
Dos and don’ts
Do
- Keep the visual identity calm, modern, and warm; use generous light space, soft colors, and clean product presentation.
- Pair clear product details with natural, family-centered moments and playful, gentle patterning.
- Write warmly and directly, leading with a useful benefit. Use the brand’s approachable language, such as “designed for delicate skin and sweet dreams.”
- Keep material and safety claims specific to the product being described.
Don’t
- Don’t make every design neutral-only: Mushie also uses playful prints, seasonal designs, and considered color accents.
- Don’t clutter product imagery or obscure the product’s shape, pattern, color, or practical features.
- Don’t use exaggerated, clinical, or impersonal copy; keep it warm, practical, and reassuring.
- Don’t generalize a product’s material or safety claims to the whole brand range.
More from the Brand Skill
Product design
Mushie products balance clean, modern forms with soft colors and practical details. Product descriptions and imagery show rounded shapes, smooth or gently ribbed surfaces, simple silhouettes, muted solids, and small whimsical motifs. A design may introduce a brighter color or playful print while keeping the overall product easy to live with.
Show products clearly and accurately: include their defining features, material, and relevant use context. For lifestyle scenes, place baby and toddler products in gentle, everyday settings—mealtime, play, bath, nursery, or on the go.
Product variants range from quiet neutrals to colorful seasonal, nature, and character prints. Treat these as product-level choices, not as a single mandatory palette or pattern for every design.
Imagery
Brand and campaign imagery
Use clean product imagery and soft, natural lifestyle photography. Favor light, neutral surroundings, warm daylight, gentle shadows, and lived-in family settings. Show products in use by babies, toddlers, and caregivers, as well as clear still-life arrangements that communicate shape, color, and function. Whimsical prints and seasonal details can add delight without overwhelming the calm, modern mood.
