About Headspace

Headspace is an everyday mental health companion, bringing together meditation and mindfulness, sleep resources, personalized guidance, coaching, and therapy to help people care for their minds in daily life. Its approach pairs approachable support with evidence-based practices and expert-led care.

Use the Headspace logo, the orange dot beside the lowercase headspace wordmark, as the default brand signature, and the orange dot on its own where a compact symbol is needed. Preserve each mark’s original proportions and colors. Do not treat product imagery, campaign artwork, or third-party marks as Headspace logos.

Headspace’s voice

Write with warmth, clarity, and encouragement. Make mental health support feel approachable and useful in everyday life. Prefer simple, human language over clinical or overly technical phrasing; when describing care or outcomes, stay grounded and avoid promising a particular result.

  • “In a busy, complicated world, Headspace is here to remind you: your mind matters”
  • “Meditation is a life skill”
  • “There’s no such thing as the perfect meditation”

Dos and don’ts

Do

  • Keep language kind, plainspoken, and reassuring; make a next step feel manageable.
  • Describe support as practical and evidence-based, and identify expert-led or clinical care accurately.
  • Use inclusive, identity-affirming language and reflect a broad range of lived experiences.
  • Keep claims measured and specific; qualify results and availability when they depend on individual circumstances.

Don’t

  • Don’t shame people, frame meditation as a cure-all, or promise that a particular outcome is guaranteed.
  • Don’t present Ebb as a human, a therapist, or a substitute for professional care.
  • Don’t describe coaching as diagnosis, treatment, or medication support.
  • Don’t use unnecessarily complicated or intimidating language where a clear everyday explanation will do.

More from the Brand Skill

Brand backdrops and illustration

Use Headspace’s own illustrated assets and abstract backdrops to give creative work a friendly, playful warmth. Keep these artwork assets recognizable rather than replacing them with unrelated visual motifs.

Editorial imagery

Use Headspace’s illustrations and visual assets alongside its educational content to make topics such as meditation, mindfulness, sleep, and mental health approachable. Retain the original artwork when adapting editorial or learning materials.

Photography and people

Headspace uses warm, human imagery to show people connecting with care, teachers, and everyday wellbeing. Preserve the people-focused images as part of the brand’s visual toolkit.

Product experience

For product-focused work, use Headspace’s own app and service imagery to reflect the actual experience: app screens, guided flows, content discovery, and member support. Keep interface screens legible and true to the product rather than treating them as generic decoration.
