Dior’s voice
Write with a refined, evocative tone that pairs concise mood-setting lines with clear descriptions of the product, its material, or its purpose. Use considered details and sensory language without obscuring what is being offered.
- “A dream of Los Angeles and its creative characters”
- “More than just finishing touches, Dior accessories offer uncompromised style and versatility, inspiring individualism and expressions of personality”
- “Dior Prestige offers exceptional skincare infused with the extraordinary restorative power of the Rose de Granville that delivers a dual regenerating and perfecting action, for visibly younger, plumper skin”
Dos and don’ts
Do
- Preserve Dior’s named signatures and product details, including silhouettes such as the Bar jacket and Lady Dior and the Cannage motif.
- Use polished, specific product descriptions: name the creation and describe relevant materials, textures, or benefits.
- Balance an evocative campaign line with straightforward supporting information.
Don’t
- Don’t replace Dior’s distinctive product names, motifs, or material descriptions with generic luxury language.
- Don’t invent product benefits or materials beyond the details being communicated.
- Don’t let poetic copy make the product or its purpose unclear.
