About Granola
Granola is an AI notepad for people with back-to-back meetings. Its visual identity pairs a distinctive olive-green accent and calm, spacious layouts with warm, clear writing about turning conversations into useful notes, decisions, and follow-through.
Granola logo
Granola’s logo pairs a hand-drawn spiral with the lowercase granola wordmark. Use it as the primary brand signature, and use the spiral alone where a compact identity is needed. Choose a version with clear contrast against its background, keep the mark recognizable and use the artwork as provided.

Granola’s voice
Write with calm confidence and a human, conversational clarity. Center the practical benefit: helping people stay present, capture what matters, and turn meetings into useful next steps. Explain the difference between raw transcription and capturing intent, nuance, and context. Be specific, direct, and reassuring; use a light touch of playfulness when it feels natural.
The voice is thoughtful rather than grandiose. It can sound warm and lightly informal, as in “When you're building something from scratch, every conversation counts.” Product lines stay short and plain: “Effortless notes, enhanced instantly.” and “Notes, actions and memory. Without a meeting bot.”
Describe Granola as an AI notepad, and explain what it does in concrete terms: it works alongside the person taking notes, enhances those notes with meeting context, and helps turn conversations into actions. Avoid inflated promises, vague AI language, and claims that imply perfect accuracy or universal capabilities.

- “Effortless notes, enhanced instantly”
- “Notes, actions and memory. Without a meeting bot”
- “When you're building something from scratch, every conversation counts”
Dos and don’ts
Do
- Use Olive as the focal accent against bright, uncluttered surfaces; keep text high-contrast and layouts spacious.
- Use Quadrant Notepad for prominent display headings and KMR Melange Grotesk for body copy, smaller headings, buttons, and links.
- Write in a calm, conversational voice that connects meeting context to practical outcomes.
- Be precise about privacy and training claims: distinguish third-party model training from Granola’s optional anonymized training for product improvement.
Don’t
- Don’t crowd layouts or bury the core message in generic AI language; Granola’s communication is direct and benefit-led.
- Don’t describe Granola as an intrusive meeting bot; its product positioning emphasizes bot-free meeting capture.
- Don’t redraw the spiral or retype the granola wordmark in another font.
More from the Brand Skill
Brand and campaign imagery
Use Granola’s own campaign artwork to add warmth and a human, approachable character. The campaign imagery can combine simple graphic elements, hand-drawn accents, or colorful photographic moments with product storytelling. Keep these visuals in a supporting role so the brand and message remain clear.
Editorial and product-marketing imagery
Granola’s editorial and product-marketing visuals mix product storytelling with expressive, approachable artwork. Use imagery to make the story more tangible—showing the people, work, or ideas behind a feature—while keeping the product’s own voice and visual identity in focus.
Product experience imagery
Show Granola as a focused, approachable notepad that fits into real work. Product imagery should make the experience legible: handwritten or rough notes becoming structured summaries, concise action lists, useful briefs, and connected workflows. Keep recognizable interface details and real meeting context in view; avoid turning product screens into abstract decoration.
