About Airbnb
Airbnb connects travelers with places to stay and local experiences, and helps people find services for their trips. Its brand brings together discovery, hospitality, and practical booking information.

Airbnb’s logo pairs the Bélo, its looping symbol, with the lowercase airbnb wordmark, in Rausch. Use the full logo as the primary mark, and the Bélo on its own where space is tight or Airbnb is already established. Place it on white or light backgrounds where Rausch stays clear, and don’t redraw, recolor or rearrange it.

Airbnb’s voice
Airbnb’s voice is welcoming, plainspoken, and oriented toward discovery. Pair an inviting sense of possibility with clear, useful details about places, activities, and stays.
Use short phrases that help people imagine a trip while staying specific and easy to understand.
Make practical details easy to scan when they matter, such as location, guest capacity, amenities, price, and ratings.
- “Hosted by the world’s most interesting people”
- “Your home could make money on Airbnb”
- “Hosting isn’t only for homeowners”
- “Inspiration for future getaways”
Dos and don’ts
Do
- Use the full logo, the Bélo with the airbnb wordmark, as the primary mark, and the Bélo alone where space is tight.
- Set headings and body text in Airbnb Cereal, with a clear distinction between prominent headings and supporting copy.
- Use Rausch for the logo and prominent actions, against white backgrounds and near-black text.
- Write in a welcoming, direct way that balances travel inspiration with practical detail.
- Use destination, stay, experience, and service imagery that reflects the specific listing or trip context.
Don’t
- Don’t recolor, stretch or redraw the Bélo or the wordmark, or change the spacing between them.
- Don’t bury key details such as location, guest capacity, price, or amenities in dense copy.
- Don’t replace Airbnb’s clear, accessible interface hierarchy with heavy decoration or hard-to-scan layouts.
- Don’t make the voice vague or overly formal; keep trip information human and easy to understand.
More from the Brand Skill
Imagery and brand backdrops
Airbnb’s website presents destinations and travel imagery alongside its own identity artwork. Use destination-led photographs to make travel possibilities tangible; reserve identity marks for branding rather than treating photos as logos.
Imagery experiences
Experience listings use photography to show people, places, food, craft, and activities. Keep imagery grounded in the specific experience and present it as part of a browsable listing with a clear title and location.
Imagery homes and hotels
Airbnb’s homes and hotel pages show property photography as part of browsing and booking. Use property imagery to convey the stay and its setting; keep it within a clear listing context rather than making it stand in for Airbnb identity artwork.
The property-detail gallery shows how several photographs can present one stay in context.
Imagery services
Service listings use photographs to introduce the service and its provider. Keep the image tied to the service category and listing details, rather than presenting it as Airbnb identity artwork.
Website and interface
Airbnb’s website uses a light interface with clear content hierarchy and ample separation between sections. Search is prominent, and navigation organizes the offering into Homes, Hotels, Experiences, and Services.
Use rounded, pill-shaped primary actions with high-contrast text. Secondary actions are outlined, while text links stay visually lighter. Cards use restrained borders and spacing rather than heavy shadows.
Present listings in browsable groups with a clear heading and concise destination or category context. Keep practical listing details—such as property type, price, and guest rating—readable alongside imagery.
Download Airbnb’s Brand Skill
A Brand Skill is a folder of brand guidance written for agents. Give it to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or another agent and ask it to follow Airbnb’s guidelines. It starts at SKILL.md, which points to the right file for each task.
This copy includes the guidance and logos. It leaves out the reference images and font files.
