Letter builds Rainbrand into Letterpress

Letter builds Letterpress, a coding agent for growth. Rainbrand provides the brand layer behind its visuals across blog posts, landing pages, and Phantomstory sites.

Letter builds Letterpress, a coding agent, harness, and IDE for growth. Letterpress makes pull requests to build landing pages, blog posts, A/B tests, and de-anonymization flows. Letterpress-1 solves common growth problems on its own, such as agent conviction (giving AI agents proof they can check), SEO and GEO, and inbound conversion.

Much of that work needs visuals as well as code and copy. Rainbrand provides the brand layer inside Letterpress. It maintains the identity, guidance, and assets used for visual work, making the same context available each time an agent creates something new.

SEO

For SEO, Letterpress can handle research, writing, editing, and publishing end to end. Articles can move from topic selection to a live site without a writer managing every step. But a written article is not a finished publication. It also needs cover art, illustrations, and other visuals that belong to the site around it.

Rainbrand gives Letterpress’s agents the brand context they need for that visual work too. This removes a practical stopping point: Letterpress can automate more of the path from an article idea to a published page.

Landing page optimization

Letterpress gives brands one-click landing page editing with Cmd+L. Headlines and visuals can be edited in place, which is especially useful when A/B testing headlines for conversion.

Letterpress can also spin up custom landing pages for each ideal customer profile. Rainbrand powers the visual layer behind the scenes, so new pages and edited visuals stay on-brand.

GEO

To help companies show up in AI search, Phantomstory can run autonomous third-party publications for different subjects and audiences, serving as a marketing sandbox to test different content strategies. Each publication’s visual language needs to identify it: a reader should recognize the same publication even when two posts cover very different subjects.

An image can match the subject of an article and still feel unrelated to the publication that released it. The agent needs the visual direction behind the masthead, illustrations, and existing work, as well as the topic it has been asked to cover.

For each new visual, the article supplies the subject and the publication supplies the direction. Rainbrand makes that direction reusable. Phantomstory’s agents can draw from the same brand context across successive posts instead of rebuilding the design brief every time, so each site keeps its own visual identity.

“We pushed Rainbrand to production as our default image solution.”

A brand layer inside the product

Letterpress owns the research, writing, editorial decisions, publishing process, and customer experience. Rainbrand maintains the brand context its agents apply within that process.

Customers stay inside Letterpress rather than moving into a separate creative tool or setting up another workflow. The brand layer works behind the product they already use, and the finished visuals return to the publication or landing page they were made for.
