## Sonos’s voice

Sonos writes with confident warmth. Make listening feel vivid and personal, but keep the language direct and easy to follow. Pair emotional outcomes with practical clarity about the system, setup, or sound.

- “Love the sound. Feel the system”
- “Just plug, tap, play”
- “You don’t just hear every detail. You feel the emotion”
- “Start with one room and simply add more when you're ready”
- “Make it easy to play any song in any room”

## Dos and don’ts

### Do

- Lead with the listening experience: clarity, detail, immersion, and the feeling music brings to a room.
- Describe the system as flexible and connected; show how products work together across rooms and uses.
- Keep instructions straightforward and reassuring, especially for setup and everyday control.
- Make product imagery feel at home in considered, lived-in spaces, and show people listening naturally.
- Present products with clean, composed views that make their form and details easy to appreciate.

### Don’t

- Don’t make the sound system feel complicated or demanding to use.
- Don’t describe sound only through technical specifications; connect features to a listener benefit.
- Don’t let product imagery feel disconnected from the home, listening, or personal use.
- Don’t obscure product form or details with cluttered presentation.

## More from the Brand Skill

### Products and listening

Sonos imagery pairs carefully presented product views with moments of listening in homes and outdoors. Preserve the breadth of product photography, configurations, and use contexts when making future creative work.

### Identity and brand imagery

Use the Sonos wordmark as identity artwork.

### Product interface imagery

Preserve the Sonos app and system interface visuals as product imagery. Use them to inform accurate depictions of browsing, playback, room grouping, setup, and control.

### Radio and editorial imagery

Sonos Radio imagery connects listening with curated music, artists, stations, and programming. Keep these visuals distinct from product-only imagery when the creative centers on the service or music discovery.

## Download Sonos’s Brand Skill

A Brand Skill is a folder of brand guidance written for agents. Give it to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or another agent and ask it to follow Sonos’s guidelines. It starts at SKILL.md, which points to the right file for each task.

This copy includes the guidance and logos. It leaves out the reference images and font files.
